Building a Stronger Community, Together.

This spring, CCR will take an important step forward in our community-led work: in partnership with Providence Institute for a Healthier Community, we are distributing a neighborhood-wide wellbeing survey. With this survey, we will substantially increase our network of community input, identify other barriers and challenges residents are experiencing, and develop strategies to better support local families based on the 6 measured domains of wellbeing, such as social connections, financial security, and neighborhood satisfaction. We will also be able to benchmark Casino Road community data against Providence’s yearly County-wide survey. Our goal is at least 600 responses from local community members - and you can help by sharing the survey with your Casino Road neighbors at the link below!

Community Development

Connect Casino Road has several programs to help Casino Road residents increase their economic opportunities. We are supporting community members through onsite English classes, registration in an early childhood education training program, digital literacy classes, and financial literacy tools. Check out a few of the programs we have launched so far!

Investments in the Community

Connect Casino Road is partnering closely with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Puget Sound to guide inclusive and equity-minded development in the neighborhood, especially as the Light Rail extension brings two stations to the area in the coming years.

Financial Literacy Resources

Connect Casino Road has partnered with Coastal Community Bank and Banzai to bring you clear, in-depth lessons that help you dive into the financial topics you care most about.
